Ever since I was young I have loved music. I've been known to shred a mean air guitar but I've always wanted to play guitar for real. The only problem is I was born without musical skills.
Throughout my teenage years I've picked up a guitar a few times and tried to learn. However I've never taken a lesson or really committed myself. That all ends today.
For my 32nd birthday I received the Rock Band Fender Mustang Pro Guitar. It's the only thing I wanted, although in hindsight I should have asked for the Rock Band 3 game as well. After a quick trip to Gamestop and my compatibility problem was solved and I am ready to start rocking.
My hope is that this guitar will teach me the proper skills I need to transition into playing guitar for real. I have created this blog to document my progress, if there is any, and hopefully connect with others wannabe rock stars.
